Dokic Joinery were honoured to be part of the refurbishment of this very special property in the Cotswolds. Having been left derelict for many years, the careful piecing together of this beautiful grade II listed building commenced under the guidance of award winning developer Chris Walker of Walker Property & Construction Ltd. Our extensive knowledge of  listed building regulations came into play in providing traditional hardwood box sash windows and doors with ornate lambs tongue mouldings, all rebated to take 12mm slim double glazed units face puttied into frames. On the end elevation, two floor to ceiling triple sliding sash windows were used as means of access onto the patio instead of doors and frames. Three sets of solid arched garage doors and frames were manufactured for the large garage block with one pair having a passenger door incorporated within. These were supplied bare timber in order for them to be allowed to silver down with time. Tulipwood was used to create all internal doors with six raised and fielded panels, with decorative skirtings, architraves and plinth blocks to provide the elegant finishing touches this majestic property fully deserved.
